The opportunity

Your community is here. Your website isn't.

Callands Fire & Rescue has an active, engaged following on Facebook and neighbors who turn out for every breakfast and festival. But callandsfireandrescue.org has sat on a blank "under construction" placeholder since October 2024, so all of that community energy points at an empty page.

The domain today · callandsfireandrescue.org
Current callandsfireandrescue.org, a blank under-construction placeholder page
  • Blank "under construction" placeholder, unchanged since October 2024
  • Nothing about the department, its trucks, events, or how to help
  • Everything lives on Facebook, where posts scroll away and new neighbors can't find them
Your new site · live to preview now
New Callands Fire and Rescue website, a bold modern design reading Ready to respond, Rooted in Callands

  • Station, apparatus, events, volunteer and donate, all in one place
  • Built to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, and owned by you
This is not a mockup. I have already designed and built a complete, working version of your site. You can open it on any device right now:

Choose how you want to run it

Two ways to move forward.

The site is identical either way. The only difference is who keeps it updated: us, on a simple monthly plan, or you, with a built-in editor.

Option 1 · Maintenance Plan  MOST POPULAR
We host it, secure it, and make every update for you. Just send a message.
$2,500 build value$300 + $50setup once + per month

Best for

"We just want it handled." No logins to learn, no software to manage.

  • Your complete custom site, built and tested (already done), hosted and managed by us
  • Hosting, SSL security, automatic backups, and uptime monitoring included
  • You email or text changes (event dates, news, photos, volunteer info) and we make them, usually within 48 hours
  • Up to 6 content updates per month included
  • $300 to set up, then $50 / month. Cancel any time, and the site and domain stay yours
Option 2 · Self-Edit
We build a simple editor in, hand it all over, and you run it yourselves. Pay once.
$500one-time · no monthly

Best for

You would rather handle your own updates and skip a monthly bill.

  • Your complete custom site, built and tested (already done)
  • A built-in, password-protected editor so your team posts events, news, and photos yourselves, no code
  • Set up on the hosting you already have, with training and a quick-start guide
  • Full ownership of the site and your domain, no lock-in and nothing recurring to us
  • Want us to take it over later? You can move to the Maintenance Plan any time

Our recommendation: the Maintenance Plan at a firefighter-to-firefighter rate of $300 to set up plus just $50 / month. For a volunteer department, the last thing your members need is one more system to maintain, so we keep the website fast, safe, and up to date while you focus on the calls and the community. If you would rather post your own updates and skip a monthly bill, the $500 Self-Edit build gives you that, with a simple editor built right in.

Getting started

How it works from here.

Review the live site

Open callandsvfr.frontlinewebdesign.tech on your phone and share it with the other leaders at the department.

Pick an option

Tell me which of the two fits your department best. Happy to hop on a quick call to talk it through.

Final tweaks & real content

We swap in any final photos, event dates, and details, and confirm everything reads exactly right.

Point the domain & go live

We point your existing callandsfireandrescue.org at the new site (a simple DNS change, no downtime), check every device, and you are live, usually within 3 to 5 days of your go-ahead.

From one firefighter to another. I am a firefighter myself, out in Hawaii, so the pricing here is a brother-department rate, not a markup on a volunteer outfit. A comparable custom build runs $2,500 or more, so your firefighter rate is a fraction of full price.

Before we start

The fine print.

Everything spelled out, so there are no surprises.

Payment & Terms: A deposit based on your chosen package gets us started; the balance is due once the site is fully complete and the domain is set up and live. Managed plans are then billed monthly through Stripe (secure card) from go-live, month-to-month with no contract, cancel any time, and prepay a year for two months free. Leave a managed plan any time and the site and domain stay yours, with a full hand-off. Optional add-on: online donations, accept cards right on the site, available whenever you want it. Pricing valid 30 days from the date above; once you pick a plan I will send a secure Stripe link to get started.

Credit & showcase. The finished site includes a small "Website by Frontline Web Designs" credit in the footer, which we remove on request. Frontline may also feature the completed site as a work sample in its portfolio and on social media.
